WILLIAM B. LUTHER
NAVAL ARCHITECT

SUBSEA TECHNOLOGY

When Bill became an Apprentice Naval Architect at the age of 16, he cut his teeth on offshore oil vessels including crew boats, supply boats and submersibles.  This training is the source of his penchant for the ruggedness, reliability and safety found in all of his designs. Since that time he has been involved in the design of underwater tools, submersibles, offshore oil vessels, under water training equipment, semi-submersibles and hyperbaric dive spreads to name a few.  Among his accomplishments is a patent he received for the design of an underwater seawater hydraulic powered band saw.
